Manolo Teijelo is an active member of the Jersey Shore Chamber of Commerce, where he serves on various committees and is the Master of Ceremony for the Chamber’s annual awards dinner, the Golden Osprey Gala. Manolo is also involved with the Monmouth Regional Chamber of Commerce and the Asbury Park Chamber of Commerce.

Manolo is an avid runner and is currently training to run the 2019 Bank of America Chicago Marathon on October 13, raising money for Children’s Tumor Foundation. He has run 6 other marathons, including New York City Marathon (4 times), Marine Corps Marathon, and the New Jersey Marathon.

Nelly Fadil, with the help of her mother Dr. Ayoub, established Waves of Equality in 2015. Nelly graduated Ranney School in 2020, and currently attends Lafayette College in Easton PA. She is currently a Neuroscience major on the Pre-Med track. She was born in Houston, Texas and now resides in New Jersey. She wants to establish a community where everyone is respected and improve our current environment for a better and stronger future.
About Teresa Maltz, Horticultural Therapist, HTR and Educator
Teresa Maltz has been a registered Horticultural Therapist through the American Horticultural Therapy Association since 2008. She is presently working towards a Masters Degree in Holistic Health Studies at Georgian Court University. She has a BA in Psychology from Rutgers College and is certified as a Teacher of the Handicapped. In addition to working as a Horticultural Therapist, she has been working as a Teacher of the Handicapped in a three year Arc of Monmouth transitional program for young adults with intellectual and learning disabilities at Brookdale Community College and is a support staff for the Arc of Monmouth’s Achievement Zone.
Teresa has worked with individuals with varied ages and populations. Her diverse background includes psychology, sociology education, holistic health and horticulture. Her mission is to inspire people through nature and horticulture. She enjoys helping people to help themselves to connect with plants and nature which will ultimately have a beneficial effect on their health and well-being.
